Mitch, I can't say I've noticed this problem, but maybe I've sublimated it. When "n" for skip links doesn't work, I try h for heading and sometimes p for paragraph, which often bypasses a clump of annoying links. Could you post a link to a webpage that presents this problem? _____ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Mitchell Sent: Thursday, February 24, 2011 8:21 AM To: JAWS Help Subject: JAWS 12 & Web Site Navigation Greetings: On many web sites of late and likely for ever more, the articles I navigate to are preceded by a host of the annoying face book and twitter links. The quick key navigation using the letter 'N' does not seem to jump over these links and accordingly, I need to arrow down past them. Often in doing so, JAWS goes quiet and I have to wait a long time or start over in an attempt to bypass this face book and twitter hurdle. Since this annoyance seems to be here to stay and assuming I am not alone with navigation trouble, I'm hoping someone has a suggestion or two in getting to the text of the article by quickly, easily and reliably bypassing these new links. Thanks, Mitch Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys. <http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/p/pjorour105432.html> P. J. O'Rourke
