you are corect, that is one of the settings that does not change when you
switch programs.  The JAWS help is clear on the behavior for this.

Actually the changes do not revert when one changes to another program, that
is what I am not pleased about.
Using the alt+v menu, try switching from whatever user verbosity level you
normally use,   then switch programs, you will find the new user verbosity
settings apply to that program as well.

it always had.  It is not that big of a deal as the change made with
JAWSKe+v is temporary.  It will reset when the focus is switched to another
application or when JAWS is restarted.

Just wondering when insert V started changing the default verbosity
settings.  For example, if you change a verbosity setting, such as the level
of verbosity (beginner, intermediate, advanced)  in one program the changes
are experienced in other programs as well.  That is not  a good thing.
