First of all Freedom is probably not too excited about supporting a pier
to pier service such as bearshare. Secondly much of what you see as
programs that work with Jaws are scripted. I would suggest you bring up
your issues with Yahoo messenger with tech support and also I believe there
is a suggestion mailbox on the freedoom site. Reporting your problems on
this list is only part of the way to solving yours or any problems the
developers need to know the problems.

Hey,
I'm not trying to start a jaws 8 bashing thread but I'm a tad puzzled.
However, I totally understand Freedom can't make all users happy after all
I most likely don't utilize half of the programs often discussed on this
list. And I've been using JAWS since 5.0 therefore I'm far from an expert
however I'm kind of bummed with version 8. Just two thing's I thought 8,
among many, would fix is Yahoo 8 without using scripts like with 7.1. And
the Bear share situation that's been hashed over between JAWS 7 and 7.1.
Do you have to upgrade to JAWS 8 and if I have already, can you say um, no
thanks and get your SMA back?
Not trying to be cheap but just curious. Like I mentioned this is just my
thoughts aren't intended to start why or why not JAWS is better.
