In ITunes what's new section, among all the other new features, ithas a section on enhanced accessibility. It just states that ITunes nowworks with Voice Over and Window Eyes on Macs and PC's. Being a Jaws usermyself, I was a bit bumbed out when I read this but downloaded it anywaysince it couldn't be any worse than it already was as fall as being able touse it.I've been playing with it for a few minutes and so far, a lot seems to be usable even for a jaws user. There are some parts where I'm having trouble, but compared to how it was before where the best I could do was use the various jaws cursors to get around, it's a world of difference.Perhaps more experienced Jaws users can also weigh in if they have a chanceto play with the program.I doubt that this is the surprise mentioned in FS's podcast about Jaws 10 since Apple didn't even mentioned Jaws in their updated information and evenwith Jaws 9, it seems to work well... http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/iTunes_for_Windows/1066335784/1but I'm sure you can find it from the offiicial site. Betanews is reliable and so that is why I use it. As for itunes 8 accessibility, it's deffinitly a step forward, but it's not the most accessible piece of software. Now more then ever, I hope the other feature not talked about in fs cast is Itunes support, because it's needed. In it's current state it's useable by people like me who like playing around, but it's not very easy to use from an accessibility standpoint in my opinion. I haven't tested it with windoweyes, but the twitter traffic I've recieved on the issue tells me that aparrently it works better with WindowEyes, totally inexcusable IMPO.
