IE not downloading

I am suddenly getting the following message when I try to download items
from a website that I have been downloading from for months:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from
downloading files to your computer. Click here for options...
When I click with the JAWS curser, I have the option to download the files,
and I can, but if I close the webpage, I get the same message again when I
reopen it. Any ideas what's wrong, and how to fix it?
