I have had that problem too. I have resolved it by hitting entre to go into forms mode, then selecting the field by pressing shift and end, then I type in my password. Sometimes it seems like the password is still in the edit field and when you type in the password it simply puts it on the end making it a double password (if that makes sense?) I am having one heck of a time having IE keep a few web site passwords. I try to log into a site and IE says that the password is not the one kept by IE. It is the correct one, so I choose keep the new password. I then try again, and I get the same message. This is getting down right frustrating. I have tried selecting the field and then deleting it first, along with the ID information. This is starting to really p--- me off. Any thoughts appreciated. Sorry for a somewhat foul language, but I hope you understand.
