Internet explorer 7 will install over top of internet explorer 6 so you
don't have to uninstall it first. You can get Internet explorer from
Microsoft.com or go to windows updates. If you do it through Microsoft.com,
go to the Microsoft website and type internet explorer 7 in the search box.
Hit enter and that will bring up the search results. From there, you can
download and install IE 7. Hope this helps.

Hi All, I keep being prompted to update my I E 6 to I E 7 by various web
sites.
I have the latest JAWS 9 configuration with XP Home and I use Outlook
Express for mail with Cable service.
Is this a jump I should make and, if so, is there a handy direct Microsoft
link someone could provide. Lastly, does this over-write I E 6 or does one
end up with 2 programs in the Control Panel list?
Thanks, I'm probably late to this game but honestly thought I ended up with
I E 7 along the way via automatic updates. As I have proven before, I'm too
stupid to own such a dangerous and powerful tool as this desktop computer.
