Robert, of those three radio buttons, which one was selected?
What I meant was when you press shift down arrow, does jaws say selected?
And then if you press control C does jaws say copied selected text to 
clipboard?
And even if Jaws doesn't say that.  After you press shift down arrow, have 
you tried pressing control C and then tried pasting the text you had tried 
to select somewhere?
Do you know what color scheme you use?  If you go to control panel, enter on 
display, the first combo box is scheme.

Hello Debbie,

I have a Del desktop.  I checked the verbosity levels which, I gather, are
those tabs that say beginner, intermediate, and advanced.  Each of them had
19 items.  There were two items in each called "select", and "select item".
These were all checked except in the intermediate level ""select" was not,
so I checked it.  This made no difference.

I no nothing about an ATI video card nor where to find out about it.  Sorry!

I don't understand your last comment.

Does this give you any more to work on?
