Samara,
If you put your focus on a combo box and press JAWS Key plus F1 to get JAWS
help on this control, you will learn how to select an item. You will note
that Shift+F8 is not mentioned. This is because this key combination is for
making multiple selections in a multiple-selection list box, not a combo
box.

Hi, i'd like to know how can i select more than one item in a combo box,
when it comes to selecting different hospitals that are listed in a combo
box as my example. How can i do this? I would appreciate any
information that you might have.

Subject: selecting multiple items from within a combo box?
Hello list,
Hopefully someone can refresh my memory as I've forgotten the key stroke
to
do this. I want to select multiple items from within a combo box. I
think it
involved the f8 and shift key or something along those lines, but it's
been
so long that I've had to do it, that I can't recall now.
