From my own experience, outlook 6 did not work with jaws 5. The problem was
when I got into that pickle I could not change back to previous versions of
outlook.

I wonder if it is actually to do with Outlook Express 6. It has a default
security setting that does not allow attachments to be saved. You can alter it
by getting into Tools/Options and select Security. There is an option to
untick Do not allow attachments to be saved.

I had 5.1 for ages and it worked just fine. It doesn't have all the
features of jaws 7 but it works adequately depending on what she expects to do
with it. Judith

My friend has windows xp home and jaws 5.0. She has the windows firewall
installed. Because of this, she cannot receive attatchments, is there a fire
wall that is better for her to use? Glenna
