I sent a message to Freedom Scientific about the problem with the
control delete no longer working to delete open messages in GroupWise
version 6.5.4 the following is what they sent to me. I sent back a
message asking where the ftp site was that they talked about in the
message. I cannot find it in their message. I have the message here in
case someone can read this and tell me where the ftp site is for the
Novell scripts. I don't know if I am just not finding it or if it is
not there. Thanks for any help.

The message follows:

Dear Eileen

Product Name: JAWS for Windows

Version: 5.0 plus

Category: GroupWise

Question:

Can I use JAWS with GroupWise 6.5 Service Pack 3?

Answer:

Yes. Novell has provided a script set which greatly enhances
accessibility of GroupWise 6.5 Service Pack 3 for JAWS 5.10 users. The
scripts accompany the
Novell GroupWise 6.5 Service Pack 3 Client. On the GroupWise CD, in
the
JAWS folder, are compiled scripts as well as source files available
for
customization.
In JAWS version 5.10, the location to copy the script files to is the
JAWS510\Settings\Enu folder. You can read more about where to obtain
these Novell-provided
scripts at the Novell support Web page (see Novell TID 10094863).

The scripts provided with GroupWise 6.5 Service Pack 2 have not been
tested with JAWS 6.0, released December, 2004. If you want to try the
script set with
JAWS 6.0, copy the script files into the user settings folder:

1. Navigate to and select the Novell scripts, then press CTRL+C to
copy
them.
2. Open the Start menu, and choose Programs or All Programs.
3. Open the JAWS program group. Then, open the Explore JAWS subfolder
and choose Explore My Settings.
4. Press CTRL+V to paste the script files into your user settings
folder.
5. Start GroupWise 6.5 Service Pack 3. You may be asked to recompile
the
scripts.

If you are using JAWS 5.0, a different script set is available, which
is
optimized for JAWS 5.0.

1. Download the script set from:
ftp://ftp.freedomscientific.com/users/hj/private/WebFiles/JAWS/Groupwise

.zip
2. Unzip the files. The file set should include nine GroupWise files
with the following file extensions:
.jbs, .jcf, .jgf, .jkm, .jsb, .jsd, .jsh, .jsm, .jss
3. Copy and paste these files into the JAWS50\Settings\ENU folder.
This
overwrites any existing 5.0 GroupWise script files.

NOTE: These are third party scripts provided for your convenience.
Freedom Scientific does not develop or support this script set. If you
have questions
or concerns, contact Novell Support. You can begin a support search
from
the
Novell Knowledgebase search page.

Subject: Delete keyboard command in GroupWise version 6.5.4

Hi,
We have upgraded to GroupWise Version 6.5.4 and the control delete
keyboard command no longer works to delete an open message. In the
past
versions of GroupWise this worked.

What can I do to make it work again? Or how can I get my open
messages
deleted with one keyboard command? right now I have to close the
message and then do the delete key which is a two step operationf or
each message that I read.

Thanks for your suggestions,
