Stan,
That's right, they are designed exactly to greatly facilitate searches on
the Google search engine.  Every time a web page is loaded, a script named
DocumentLoadedEvent is fired.  I've inserted a routine in that script that
checks whether the new web page is a Google search page, and if it is,
several of the scripts are enabled, and if it is not a Google page, the
scripts are not in effect.  It tooks some work, but well worth it to have an
accessible search engine.
