Getting measurements in inches with JFW and MS Word

Does anyone know if there is a JFW command to get JFW to tell you by
inches on a line where you are?
The situation is - trying to setup a three column page using tabs and the
columns need to be properly aligned. Need to find by inches what the
longest line length in each column is to be able to setup the tabs in MS
Word 2K.
Any and all help will be much appreciated.
