That assumes they're not working on the problem, Jim. Maybe they want to work on the problem without having to answer all sorts of Vista-related questions.

Hi, agreed but un like bruce I am torn. For the programmer this is the
best way to do this. For the user that wants to stay on the cutting
edge it is not the best thing they could be doing.
The longer they wait to start working on the problem the longer us users
are going to have to wait.

What I'm thinking FS will probably do is build support for Vista in their next full release, or the first full release of JAWS after Vista is released. Hopefully, users of Vista won't have to wait too long for it.

I take this as an indicator that FS should wait until Vista is out,
so
they'll know exactly what they have to do for accessibility.

Hi all,
Sorry for the cross posting but I felt this was important. As
some of you know, I am testing the beta of windows vista and

have found out that this is really been dumb luck on the part of

FreedomScientific, since in the latest beta build of 5270 ... Jaws

The reason I bring any of this up is that I have been talking

wonderful folks at FreedomScientific, who have told me that they

It is interesting to note that GWMicro seems to be much more
sensible in
that they already profess to have minor compatibility. While I do

If you all wish ... Maybe a storm/torrent of emails to
FreedomScientific
would get them to admit something more about their plans for
vista.
