Is it just me, or is the Freedom Scientific as obviousely accessible
as you'd expect it to be as they are the publishers of JAWS.

It's not just you. It's a poorly designed site. Sadly, that's not unusual for assistive technology vendors.

Some of the headings etc don't put you where you'd expect on the
page.

You'd do better to bring this up with the Freedom Scientific webmaster. Make sure to give them an actual URL so they know what page you're having trouble with. They don't actually provide an email address for the webmaster, so I'd use the technical support contact form here:

http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_about/Contact_Us_Form.asp?Mail_Subject=Support

Or if even that proves difficult to use with your setup, just email them at:

info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hope that helps.
