Nancy, here is one better. If you contact your local phone company they will
have you fill out a form and from there on, information calls are free, just
by dialing 411. I haven't paid for information for years. I think a Dr. has
to sign for the fact that you are blind, but hey, it' worth it, because
even your number charges you for minutes called. Call your local phone
company and check it out.

I just paid $3.49 a piece for 2 DA (directory
assistance) calls because I'm totally blind and
my husband oftentimes cannot find numbers in the
phone book because of his visual impairment. Wish

Phone companies are charging us $1.00 or more
for 411 / information
calls.
When you need to use 411, simply dial 1 800 FREE
411 or 1 800 373 3411 without incurring a charge
at all except for the minutes required to make
the call
if you are using a cell phone.
This is information people don't mind receiving,
so please let others know.
Program this number into your CELL and start
getting FREE information.
DO NOT DIAL 411 anymore.
This works for land lines and cell lines.
