Fodus Problem

Hi,
Something weird is going on with this system, a Dell 4100 with Windows ME,
IE6 and Jaws 5. It recently had a significant adware/spyware problem, and,
using both Spybot and Ad-Aware 6, I seem to have taken care of it, as far
as I can tell, but I still have focus problems with IE6. I'll bring up a web
page and almost immediately lose focus. I've done a JAWS repair and an IE
repair and it's still happening.
Any suggestions?
