Actually, as I mentioned in my original message, its not the dots. The
sound I'm hearing is coming through the soundcard, which means I can
hear it when wearing headphones or when the speaker is unplugged.
Thanks to the suggestion about it possibly being the other display,
from Alex. Incidentally, anyone know if the drivers for the Braillant
40 are easy to remove? I think that this is where the noise is coming
from. I called FS tehc support when I got home from work and they've
never heard of the noise either. So If they've never heard of it, and
no one here has, then that likely rules out the Focus display for
causing it.

Many thanks,
Wayne
