Hi, Especially if you are using a router with DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) with it, which in this case ipconfig would return the router's IP address, not the address of the actual modem. Also, in connection with JFW, you need 6.0 and higher to read cmd screen properly (others require JAWS cursor and/or virtualized window mode).
