Hi,
Especially if you are using a router with DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) with it, which in this case ipconfig would return the router's IP
address, not the address of the actual modem. Also, in connection with JFW,
you need 6.0 and higher to read cmd screen properly (others require JAWS
cursor and/or virtualized window mode).

Just an additional note on this..  The default gateway may or may not be the

same address as the diagnostic address of your internet connection device. 
In my case, it is not and additional efforts are necessary to find this 
address.  Your ISP most likely can tell you or an internet search on the 
type of device or the good old reference manual for the device may be 
necessary..
