Hi it was introduced in 7.1 and it is not called add synthesizer it is
called the speech and Braille manager.
It can be found in the jaws utility menu of the jaws control panel.

Hi Stacy. In answer to the synthesizer question, yes you can. Depending on
the version of jaws your using, either go through installation maintenance,
or if your using jaws eight I believe there's something that says something
like add synthesizer, or something to that affect. Hope this helps.
