Thanks. I saw the control page up and control page down, but they didn't refer
to "tabs." You're probably right. My assistant may just be using the wrong
terminology.

the tabs he refers to are probably the pages of the work book. You
can reach them with the JAWS cursor and use the mouse clikc to
activate them, or you can press shift-control-s to move from one to
the other, or control-pageup and control-pagedown.
