Folks, we have a little situation. My company as given me a promotion. They now want to put me in charge of server management. I have no problem with this at all, and I am! a certified network admin, so for me, this really isn't a big deal, however, I cannot figure out how the bloody heck to enable sound under windows 2k3. I mean, ok, I know how to do it, but I don't know the amount a keystrokes to scroll etc. to do it. I know you can do it one of two ways.

I guess the more complicated way would be to go to start, run, then type services.msc

Then go down I think it was windows component services. Then go to windows sound, app's key, go to properties, then set the radio button from disabled, to enabled, hit apply, then hit start, but I hear a much easier way is to go

start, then go to run, type in control and hit enter.

Then from the control panel, type s o u real fast to get to sounds an audio devices. hit enter on it. Now however is where I'm stuck. Apparently, there is a checkbox on this first page that comes up that says enable sound. I'm guessing alt+E would toggle that box, meaning I could then do alt+E then just hit enter since the default button would most likely be the OK button, but I wanna confirm my theory is correct. Has anyone independently gotten sound working in Win 2003? Do yall maybe know even an easier way? Aside being a smart alak, and saying, yeah! get a sighty to do it. The only reason I don't have my supervisor just do this for me is cause my company makes me work out of home, and the server we will use is actually located on a box in my home, so it's not exactly in the most centralized place, admittedly.
