When ever this happened on my windows ME machine it meant that it was time
to reboot because resources were getting low. That shouldn't be a problem
with XP though from what I'm told.

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

Subject: Eloquence sluggish, and sometimes disappearing

Hi, this is Steve. I am using XP Home with JAWS5.1. I hope to get this
remedied before it gets worse.

I have noticed a gradual tendency for

Eloquence to not respond as quickly with the key echo when I am typing. Now
a new problem is occurring. When I launch some programs from the desktop,
sometimes the voice is completely gone for a few seconds, and in other
instances, several minutes. I am familiar with which keys to press after the
program opens and can get things started long before JAWS response. Once
again, this isn't always but becoming increasingly more noticeable.

I haven't changed any settings within JAWS, accept for the dictionary, word
replace.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
