Yep, Darrel is quite correct. Pressing enter to turn on forms mode, and then pressing alt plus down arrow will get you into the list of choices. then once you've found the one you want, press tab and that choice will be activated. Don't feel bad though, it took me a while to catch onto that one too. Actually, the term I've heard for these kind of combo boxes is something like an on mouse over event.

I think that's what it is?
Either way, if you don't know how to handle them they can be a real pain!

Hi Dahn,

In many cases, after pressing enter, you can press alt+down arrow to get started with these types of combo boxes.

Subject: Dynamic combination boxes

There is a critter on many web sites that I call a dynamic combo box. It starts to look like a regular combo box, but when you hit enter to get into it and then start to down arrow, you are taken to the first link the box offers, or a link beginning with the letter you type. There is no way that I can discover to actually scroll through the box's contents to see w hat choices are there. Each and every time you use an arrow key, the page goes to that link and refreshes.

Anhyone know what the proper term for these is and if Jaws can be made to handle them like a non dynamic combo box?
