I use the Stedman's medical dictionary and Spell checker, and they work very well for me. They can be found at http://www.stedmans.com personal email: tsyslo@xxxxxxxxxxxx MSN Messenger: tlsyslo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx AOL instant messenger: drizzlecat ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anna K Byrne" <annakb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 23, 2004 12:49 PM Subject: Dorland's electronic medical dictionary Is anyone using successfully with JFW dorland's electronic medical dictionary thirtieth edition and the included dorland's electronic medical speller version 4.0)? A friend has installed it with JFW4.51. It works with the MS Word spell checker when JAWS is not active, but with JAWS loaded you can type only a letter or two before the system locks up. If someone is using this, or could suggest an equivalent medical transcriptionist spell check program to work with JFW, would you please let me know? thanks a lot, Ann -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
