Hello..again(smile):
As an addition to my below letter sent previously today, I inadvertently left
out some information that may, or may not, prove valuable/necessary.
I have a Soundblaster Live soundcard that I am using for all audio other than
JAWS. For JAWS, I have a built in soundcard on my motherboard.
Don't know if that will help, but figured that why not throw out the baby with
the bath water as well(grin).

Cheerio,
Dennis

Greetings everyone:

I am attempting to implement the "AT & T Naturally Speaking" voices on my
computer.
To begin with I have a Windows XP home edition operating system and I am using
the current version of JAWS, version 5.00.844.

When attempting to link the AT & T voice to the JAWS synthesizer through the
configuration manager/synthesizer function there is only one default voice to
use for eloquence and that is the default that comes with JAWS(found in a
combo box of this voice only). Since JAWS version 5.00844 already comes with
the "sapi 5" installed and the AT & T voices are already installed how would I
go about making one of the AT & T voices the default voice for my computer?

Discombobulated and puzzled
Dennis
