You cannot have it both ways!  You either want the moderator of a user
list to be on the ball, making sure that the list stays on topic or,
you do not.

When the moderator of this list did not appear to be moderating the
subject of this list on a regular basis, users of this list complained
about it and quite rightly so.

Now that the moderator of this list appears to be moderating this list
on a regular basis and making sure the users of the list stay on
topic, there are those among us who cannot and will not stop
complaining.  Maybe there lives and interests are so limited, they
have nothing else better to do.

If we, the users of this list, would stay on topic, the moderator of
this list could be the best type of moderator, that is, seen but never
heard.

In summing up, I think that the moderator of this list, over the past
few months, has done and hopefully will continue to do a very good job
of moderating the list.  I for one, would like to say, thank you
James.
