DVD burning

I'm about to purchase DVD burning software. So far, I'm having no luck with
Nero 6. most likely, it is my lack of understanding how it should be done.
Does anyone have recommendations on which jaws friendly software to use?
Using xp home , jaws 6 and plenty of power.
