Creating Pivot tables in Excel

Dear friends,
Is it possible to create pivot tables in Excel with JAWS independently or
does one require sighted assistance for creating them?
I am using Excel 2003 with JAWS version 8 & Windows XP.
In case it is possible to create pivot tables independently in Excel, could
you please give step-by-step instructions for the same. I have never before
created a pivot table.
