Gary,
I press Escape twice to leave the comment editor in Excel 97. The first =
Escape takes me out of edit mode, after which using the arrow keys moves =
the comment around on the screen. The second Escape takes focus back to =
the spreadsheet.

arrowing around with the JAWS cursor and clicking the mouse button??
