Dan, first locate a page that has a combo box on it and:
1. Press letter C to move to combo box.
2. Press enter to activate forms mode.
3. Hit alt down arrow to open combo box.
4. Press insert +f2 to bring up a list of all available Jaws utility
managers.
5. Arrow down to "custom highlight assign" and press enter.
6. a new dialog will apear, choose highlight for both fore and background
color and tab to ok button.
7. Wait a few seconds, the internet explorer.jcf file will open, choose the
default, for example you might be in a combo box with color black on black,
tab to ok and enter, press control S to save changes, you are done.

Please anyone feel free to jump in and make corections if I left something
out. Keep in mind that you will have to make this change again when you
visit another site, where the combo box is of a different color, like white
on black.

Hal

Subject: Combo Boxes in IE7

I've decided to take the plunge and download Internet Explorer 7.

Could someone please repost the procedure for making combo boxes work with
the new browser and JFW 7.1? I thought I'd saved it, but apparently I
didn't.

Thanks.
