I just tried this and for me Firefox always says black on black even though I have enough light perception left to know such a silly thing is not true. IE is giving more reasonable answers like "Dodger Blue 4 on White" for a random link on msnbc.com. Not sure if that helps but it certainly shows you aren't alone. JFW10 and Windows XP for anyone keeping track.
