go to
www.google.com/ie
type the sound you want
like train whistle wav
look around and
you will find lots of web sites that
will let you down load sounds for free
after downloading
always, always always
scan for antivirus, before opening anything down loaded
then, if running xp, copy the sound file, to the clip board
hit, the start mnenu
r, for run
type media
and then paste the file in the folder
now the sound will be available to you in the control panel
in sounds
to assign to what ever program you want

Randy,

where did you find the glass breaking sound, or any others? You left out
that step. Do you find a variety of .wav file sounds somewhere, then copy
the one you want to the program files subfolder and rename it so it'll work
in AdAware?

(Lavasoft is a trade name that's a combination of Lava, as in the molten
material that erupts from a volcano, and soft as in software.)

i found it and changed it. go to your my computer local dis c then in to
program files.
hit l until you get to lavisoft or however it is spelled. enter on that.
enter on ad aware and you will find alert.wav.
I changed it and am now using a glass breaking sound which i retitled
alert.wav. Randy
