Sorry. I didn't know that. What I described happens to have been my
experience on all the lists I'm on, and they're all hosted by different
types of hosts. I don't know how to express that properly. But simply
unsubbing and resubbing under a new addy is the only method I've ever used.
Thanks for adding to my knowledge.

Well, if this were a Listserv list, for example, one could issue a
change-address command to make the change in one command. The fact that,
with Freelists, there is no quick change-address command does not imply
that this is a fact for mailing lists in general.
