You deleted my message, where there's a short paragraph about exactly this. 
I think you open the settings dialogue with f4, then control tab to the file 
name tab or whatever it's called, then type in the path you want to use. 
Please look at my message again.  I think you'll see it.

Hey Daniel, how do I change the file directory to save tracks? I want to be
able to change it to c:\my music and I can't seem to do that. Instead, it's
saving the tracks or ripped files to my documents my music folder. Thanks.
