Hi, I have had the same simular problem, sometimes when I turn on my computer, JFW does'nt work all the way, it does'nt read my dialog box fully. Then I shut it down for a minute or 2 and turn it back on it works fine after, I think my problem is the virus protection I have, called MacFee. Try turning it off then back on again.
