It is worth looking at IE to see what toolbars you've got checked. I had a
squidge at mine and found stuff I didn't know about, realplayer, askgeeves...
I unchecked some of this and now I can use the file menu alt key and tab across
through the other menus, a thing I had lost the ability to do.
