Go to the format menu. Down arrow to "bullets and numbering." Using control tab find the applicable areas. When it gives you a choice, arrow to none. Hit OK. You'll have to do this on both areas. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John McLuckie" <john_mac@xxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 16, 2005 2:59 PM Subject: Automatic bullet & numbering Good afternoon folks, I am a user of Word 2000 and have always been frustrated by the program assuming I want bullets and numbering, when a great deal of the time, I don't. Most of the time, when I do want it, I'd like to just add it as I go. does anyone know where in the endless menues and choices a person can turn off the automatic bullet and numbering process so it does not exist as a default? thanks.
