Sam, The only way I can tell when I turn on or off bold, italic, and underline in Wordpad is to use insert + f, which is not the same as announcing it. I found the JAWs scripts in the MS Word script file and copied them to the Word pad script and it seems to work the same as the MS Word application. The problem is you have to know something about the JAWs Script Editor and I would not suggest doing anything with it with out some experience. sam ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Harmony Neil Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2010 11:15 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Announcing Bold and Italics in Word Pad I thought it just did it automatically. You know, in MSWord, if you hit control I, jaws sais 'italic on'. Is there any way to have it do the same in word pad?
