I can read the revealed codes with the PC cursor. I'm afraid I don't know
what you can do to correct your problem, beyond perhaps reinstalling WP to
see if some quirk fixes itself. At least you know in this respect JAWS
ought to work correctly with WP12. My problem with reveal codes is that
JAWS recently took to reading them with open and close brackets, which slows
down the process. FS was unable to solve the problem, which they
acknowledge started with a recent version of JAWS.

I have also did the registry edit, similar to the opt.reg file that comes with jaws. I assume this is the one you refer to.
The only way I can read the reveal code screen is to use the jaws cursor, the codes are not verbalized with the pc cursor. Does your setup read the codes with the pc cursor?

itI also use WP12 but have not experience your problem. Wondering if you have the reveal code screen reading properly with Jaws? If so, how did you do it?

Subject: Alt+f4 saying open
Hi: after installing word perfect 12 I noticed that any time I'm out of wordperfect the key combination alt+f4 says open. It actually does whatshould do, although it is anoying. in fact, hitting f4 sayins open.Anyonekno how to fix the problem so that hitting f4 or alt+f4 will say nothingasit is usually set to do. As I say, in word perfect, alt+f4 says nothingandthedoes close the program. Thanks. John Fioravanti,
