Yes Paul, it is very much accessible. It has its querks, but for the most part it is accessible. I use Sound Forge myself, but had to use Adobe Auditon at a radio station where I used to work. Good luck!Also worth checking out are a free audio application called Audacity, and a shareware one called Goldwave.
