In the meantime, you are welcome to continue to use Ad-Aware SE Personal for as long as we are able to provide updates to Ad-Aware SE's threat database. In order to continue to keep Ad-Aware SE Personal updated, you will need to perform manual updates when new Definitions Files are released. Here are the instructions for performing a manual update for Ad-Aware SE: - Close Ad-Aware SE. - Download the latest Definitions File in ZIP format here http://download.lavasoft.com/public/defs.zip and save the file to a temporary location. - Unzip the contents of the file either with a ZIP utility or with the built-in support in Windows to the Ad-Aware SE installation directory, which usually is "C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE\". - Open Ad-Aware SE. - Confirm that the latest Definitions File is installed by checking the "Initialization Status" in the main program window. Hi listers. If this question has been beaten to death before please forgive me and would someone PLEASE write me off-list? I tried looking this subject up in the archive and couldn't find it. Is there such a thing as Jaws scripts for this program or the ones for add-aware 1.06 still good? I would really appreciate help with this because there are no longer any updated deffinitions for 1.06SE and I guess I'm gonna have to install Add-aware2007. Thanks very much in advance for any help anyone can give me in this matter. With warm regards, Paul
