Sounds like the one I use. Holds 5 + hours on slow speed. I love mine. and
the software is pretty friendly. No scripts needed.

Sony Digital IC recorder.

     I use a small Sony digital recorder for meetings and the like.  I don't
know what model.  It connects to the computer via USB.  The physical
controls are all accessible and the software is manageable if you're use to
using your cursor keys.  It cost about $150.00 two years ago.
