Jodi could you explain how one incorporates these other voices into
Jaws? A step by step description would be extremely helpful if you have
a moment to do it....thanks.

All the AT&T voices work with JFW. NextUp is the best place to get
them. There is a link on the nextUp site to hear demos of the voices.
It is cheaper to buy one of their products and have the AT&
T voices bundled wit. You will have to wait for a CD as the AT&T
voices
can't be downloaded directly. You can, however install just the voices
and not the nextUp product.

All that being said, I did this a while back . I think the sound of
the AT&T voices is very good as long as you don't speed them up too
much. I like my speech to run much faster than that so I switched back
to Eloquence. You can switch back and forth with no problems. You can
set different voices for different things, but all the voices have to
belong to the same synth.

Hope this helps,

JP

Hello, ok then. I have many questions. Here they go. Can all of the
Natural voices, plus the Cepstral voices, be used as voices for Jaws? If
so, can you give direct links? I went to the Premier Programming site,
looked at products, and found no individual package of the natural
voices. Is there any way to just install these voices without any other
news reader program or anything? I don't need a news group program or
any other reading program. If I can't avoid buying the news aloud
program, then can I just uninstall it and never use it, or do the voices
rely on the program to keep afloat? If I need these news programs
anyhow, is the easiest place the Next Uptech site, where I can get all
of the voices? Are you sure these can work with Jaws, because I wouldn't
want to buy these and find that they don't work? Also, Can I hear a
quick demo of the voices so I can decide on which ones I like? Do I have
to purchase a cd of them and wait for the mail, or can I download them
right away? Thanks a lot. Matthew
