Thanks Guy, using numpad+ did nothing in this situation. I had to use
jawskey+z to get it into virtual mode.
I haven't come across this myself I am glad to know what this and what to do
when I do come across this.

Application mode is invoked by JAWS because the page is coded as an
application. This is done through HTML codes. Pressing numpad plus brings
you back to virtual mode and makes the page readable.

Hi, I am not sure what the application mode is but I found that by using
jawskey+z I was able to go into virtual mode and the page was readable.
Does any one know what this application mode actually is and why it
automatically turns on when the web page loads?
Knowing this may make it easier to figure out what to do next.

Subject: APPLICATION MODE

I was attempting to find a product on the Lowes Building Supply website
www.lowes.com. After the site loaded, it stated that Application Mode was
on. I am using Windows XP, Explorer 8, and Jaws 12. I then discovered that
I could not use any of the Jaws navigation keys to view or link within the
site. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?

Thanks, Joe
