you never have to his control enter, not to send a message nothing, that's 
just in the AOL software itself, in AIM you don't, you just hit enter.  I do 
it all the time, or when I'm on there anyway which isn't much lately since I 
haven't talked to anyone on there in over a month, no one on my buddy list 
is ever on anymore.
