Yes, Judith, there are several firewall packages available. Probably the
most usable free one is Kurio Firewall; others have used the Sygate
Firewall. Although Zone Alarm makes a free version which is highly
recommended, past versions of ZA haven't been very accessible.
There are also good firewalls that cost about $40=-50 and if you shop around
you can get those security suites which include a firewall, anti-virus
program, and some other add-ons for $25 or so.
