Without ambition, why get up in the morning?  I am running myself into a
brick wall with this changeset tool, but I am learning a lot about the
algebra of changesets and understanding even more reasons why a lot of
the popular revision control systems don't work.

Oh sure, keep it simple.  If you were to have one function of a thousand
lines or so, then something has probably gone wrong.  But we can eat an
elephant one bite at a time.

I'll take a look at your code in the other thread and post back later.
