Hi Tom:
Menus can be difficult to deal with if they do not speak using the
custom highlight options.
Take a look at the fsdn in the menus category and you will see a number
of functions and events that you may be able to change to accommodate
the menus in your application. Also see if you can get any MSAA
information for the menus in home row mode. If so, maybe you can use
this information in a work around in your scripts.

Have 2 versions of screamer radio.
4.2 reads fine. 4.3 does not.
Problem is menus. 4.2 has white on midnight blue, 4.3 black on
midnight
blue.
Have tried custom highlight colours, but, no joy.
Any suggestions apart from trying to script every menun item.
Also, for learning's sake. Why should black rather than white matter to
jaws
since it is not seeing colours.
