[jawsscripts] finding a character on the screen

Hi all,
I'm working on a script that will find a specific character on the screen and 
then move  so many pixels and drop something from the clipboard. I'm wanting 
the jaws find or something as good to find "*" without the quotes. How do I do 
this?
